The Montana Statistical Analysis Center (SAC) compiles, houses, and analyzes a variety of data from across the State of Montana's justice system in the Montana Incident-Based Reporting System (MTIBRS) central repository. It serves as the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) point of contact for the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) in the state. The SAC is affiliated with and receives professional support from the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA), a national nonprofit organization that promotes collaboration and exchange of information. The SAC funds research and publications on criminal justice issues that affect the state.
